Artists! Would you like to show your work on the internet, on your own web page? You can, for only £20 for the first year and then £15 for each succeeding year....... Your page might look something like THIS. From that page you can explore the rest of the website.
ART ON VIEW currently features eighteen artists with over two hundred illustrations of their work. Any artist can have a page created and uploaded to the website for a fee of £20, covering the making up of the page (which can be amended or added to from time to time), and its publication on the internet for one year. After the first year the page will be kept on the website A page consists of up to 250 words of biographical details or any other information the artist wishes to give, with illustrations of up to twelve works of art; these may be of any kind—paintings, drawings, collages, photographs, ceramics, textiles, sculptures, carvings or jewellery. Artists who would like a page on the ART ON VIEW website can simply submit photographs of the items as prints or, preferably, as digital files, together with (at the artist’s option) biographical or other details. The photos will be captioned with any details the artist wants to include such as title, dimensions, media, and price when appropriate. ART ON VIEW takes no commission on any sales and will not be involved in any way in negotiations with potential buyers. The artist’s phone number or email address will be given in the text so that anyone wishing to buy any of the works illustrated on the website can make direct contact.
